Binningup - Store This is the Binningup General and Liquor Store. Quite a large supermarket inside catering for a growing population. They also sell takeaway food but alas no tables in sight. There are no other shops in Binningup and no restaurants, which is surprising given its size. Wonder why businesses are not moving in .. even a pub or tavern (there is a Sports Club on the outskirts of town though)? January 2012 |

Binningup - Water Sports Association Right on the beach-front is the Harvey Districts Water Sports Association. This has a restricted liquor licence for special events. Nice looking building with well-kept lawns. January 2012 |

Binningup - Beach And of course the beach. All the beaches along this bit of coast (in fact most West Australian coast) look fabulous. Can you see Bunbury sticking up there on the horizon? January 2012 |

Binningup - Lakewood Lakewood is a relatively new residential section of Binningup. This is a section of the entrance. Just look at the fine house in the background! January 2012 |

Binningup - Library The Binningup Library. Today is a weekday. Binningup seems almost deserted which (rightly or wrongly) leads to me think that this place is considered an alternative residential "suburb" of Bunbury where workers and school-children commute, rather than a holiday town like Myalup or Preston Beach. There seem hardly any facilities for passers-by or holiday-makers (there is a caravan park) - unless I missed them - which has the same effect. January 2012 |
