Burswood - Hotel The front of the Inter-Continental Hotel at Burswood. This place has been there right from the start though I think it's undergone a name-change or two. 2007. |

Burswood - Hotel Inside the Inter-Continental Hotel. It looks fabulous and those lifts are an attraction to a little boy. 2007. |

Burswood - Hotel Again inside the hotel, and the lifts WERE irresistible. This is from the top floor - the tenth - looking down onto a restaurant and other stuff, way away downstairs. 2007 |

Burswood - Casino The most original bit and most renowned portion of the Burswood complex is the casino. Not allowed to take pics in there (hey! there's our neighbour Nigel Blatherswait gambling away the rent money away .. again) - here is the sign and you can see the dome of the casino to the right. 2007 |

|
Burswood - Dome Just walking over from Burswood train station (previously known as Rivervale), here is the Burswood Dome. It's a busy day today as the Hopman Cup (tennis) is on. 2007 |

Burswood - Holiday Inn This is the Holiday Inn hotel in the Burswood complex. A rather recent addition. 2007 |

Burswood - New Apartments Looking west from Burswood are these apartment buildings springing up over there near the gold course. These would go for a pretty penny. They look rather like something you'd expect to see in Kong Hong - low-rise there, of course. 2007 |

|
Burswood - Hamburger Hill Just a stone's throw from the Burswood complex here is an icon that goes back decades. Hamburger Hill was so well known as was the very visual Swan Portland Cement works just up the road - Hamburger Hill is still here - the cement works have gone! 2007. |

Burswood - Belmont Park This is the back-end view of the Belmont Park race course - as seen from the train line and the roads. This is where they hold the Perth winter races. In summer they're all down the road at Ascot. May 2008 |

Burswood - Belmont Park Putting on a rather finer face, this is Belmont Park race course grandstand from the track side. Just look at that lush green grass after all the rain we've had so far this year. May 2008 |
