Carine - Wetlands Here is one of the Carine lakes. This is the one closest to Beach Road. Looks good today and full of ducks and other water birds and still a lot of water after a long hot summer. April 2010 |

Carine - Horse Riding Centre Adjacent to the wetlands is the Helen Strickland Arena. It is a riding school for the disabled. Horses are housed in here or graze in the paddocks off to the left! April 2010 |

Carine - Shops
A new wing of shops built
where the swimming centre used to be, behind the main shopping block on
Beach Road. Although called Carine shops, they are actually in Duncraig.
Carine does not have a shopping centre within its boundaries! October
