Karrakatta - Cemetery The entrance to Karrakatta Cemetery off Railway Road. The entrance is right across the road from Karrakatta train station. Just inside the entrance off to the right is a cafeteria. Right across the other side of the cemetery, near Smyth Road, is the war cemetery. December 2010 |

Karrakatta - Cemetery This rather exquisite structure is a large type of gazebo. It is equipped with resting chairs and the walls are decorated with some details of the cemetery history. Rather a peaceful ambience and I suppose a welcome rest area particularly on a hot or a wet day. December 2010 |
