Scarborough - Blue House Who can remember the "blue" house on Scarborough Beach Road, just north of central Scarborough? The house was a little controversial although I don't know if it was because of the colour, its distinctive design, its owner, or a bit of all three. On this site it stood until it was demolished a few years ago. The design and strong colours of this new building don't look a whole lot different in some ways. January 2011 |

Scarborough - Restaurant On Scarborough Beach Road opposite Observation City is the Sun-Moon Restaurant. A rather pleasant looking building but one that easily missed by the passing motorist. January 2011 |

Scarborough - Quest Quest serviced apartments is quite a new building on the corner of Scarborough Beach and Brighton Roads. Quest is a chain which has serviced apartment buildings all over the country. January 2011 |

Scarborough - West Beach Lagoon On The Esplanade overlooking the ocean is West Beach Lagoon. It also fronts Scarborough Beach Road. I think the "front" is at the other end. These holiday apartments have been here for around 25 years. January 2011 |
