South Fremantle - Old Beaconsfield PO This is the old Beaconsfield Post Office on Hampton Road. It always looks great and so it does today. No longer a Post Office but current occupants are looking after it well - it looks a picture. It seems it is currently occupied by a company called Dorian. January 2009 |

South Fremantle - Seaview Tavern Another pub. I like pubs. This is the Seaview on South Terrace. It's been here since 1897 (and probably has a few name changes) but whatever the name may be, as long as the ale is cold. January 2009 |

South Fremantle - Old Newmarket Hotel This building used to be an hotel - I think it was the Newmarket. It's on the fork in the road where Hampton Road turns into Rockingham and Cockburn Roads. It's for sale and despite some added structural support, it looks in pretty good condition! July 2011 |

South Fremantle - Wood Company Just slightly down Rockingham Road from the old Newmarket is the Fremantle Wood Company which doesn't look like it's in business right now. Beyond that building is a row of new looking villa homes. July 2011 |

South Fremantle - Beaconsfield School This fine looking building used to be the Beaconsfield Primary School. These days it serves as an administration outpost for the Education Department. This is the view you see when travelling along Hampton Road. July 2011 |

South Fremantle - Beaconsfield School Again the old Beaconsfield Primary School, this time looking from the north, inside the courtyard. The buildings are very well preserved and are heritage listed. July 2011 |

South Fremantle - St Pauls Church This is St Paul's Anglican Church on Hampton Road. The Foundation Stone was laid on 23 August 1905 by Admiral Sir Frederick Bedford who was the then Governor of Western Australia. July 2011 |

South Fremantle - Church Hall Behind St Pauls Church is the Church Hall. Construction commenced in the 1870's and although originally built as a hall, is was in fact used as a place of worship until the Church at the front was constructed. July 2011 |

South Fremantle - Church Rectory At the front of St Pauls compound and to the left of the Church is the Rectory. July 2011 |

South Fremantle - House All along Hampton Road are attractive old houses - some with bull-nosed verandahs and some with incredibly high pitched iron roofs. This is a very cute looking home of rather innovative design. Walking along the road, there is quite a bit of evidence of cracked brickwork probably caused by vibrations from incessant heavy (and noisy) traffic that uses this road. July 2011 |

South Fremantle - Moondyne Tavern On the corner or Wray Avenue and Hampton Road is Moondynes Tavern. This used to be known as the Beaconsfield Tavern. July 2011 |
