Beverley It's always a delight to find an old Road Board Building. This is in Beverley. The Foundation Stone was laid by Frank Tyndall Broun, Esq. J.P., Chairman (presumably of the Road Board?) on the 14th December 1908 (That date might be slightly wrong as the stone is rather worn). September 2010 |

Boddington
Situated next door to the Town Hall. Since 1993 it has been occupied by Boddington Community Newsletter Inc. The building started its life in 1925 as the Marradong Road Board. Marradong continued to be its name until 1961 when the Shire of Boddington was formed. October 2011 |

Darkan What a pleasant surprise to find another surviving Road Board Building in this town. This was built in 1929 and is in fabulous condition. It may be being used by the Health and Resource Centre next door as the building appear to be connected. April 2012 |

Gingin The Gingin Road Board building was commissioned in 1910 and opened by local MLA Mr S.F. Moore on 29 April 2011. The building cost 310 pounds to construct and continued operating as a Roads Board until 1968. These days this building is used as a pre-school and Red Cross centre. August 2010 |

Goomalling
Another fantastic looking Road Board Building. There is no outward sign of a construction or opening date. This building is currently being well looking after by Renascence beauty therapists. October 2011 |

Pingelly
Fine looking but un-dated Roads Board (note Roads, not Road) Building at Pingelly. Currently used as the Community Agricultural Centre. November 2011 |

|
Pinjarra The old Shire of Murray Road Board Office. From the mid 1870's to 1935 the Road Board occupied these premises. Another (Alcoa) sign out the front says 1909 but I'm not sure what that date actually signifies. August 2011 |

Wandering
Smaller than some although still a striking old building. Here is Wandering's Road Board Office sitting intact inside what I assume is a council compound. This was built in 1928. October 2011 |

Waroona Originally the Drakesbrook District Road Board, now the Waroona Historical Society and Museum. When this town was first established in 1891, it was called Drakes Brook after Mr William Henry Drake, an original land owner from way back around 1847. The name Waroona was adopted in 1895.
