Jennacubbine

A small locality half way between Toodyay and Goomalling, some 4 kms south of Mumberkine and down Tyndall Road. Although small and a little out of the way, the town appears to be doing well. The railway siding was opened here in 1902 and was the first such siding on the passing railway. The town name comes from nearby Jenacubine well, named in 1848. Another spelling variation was Jenacubbine. The town was not gazetted as such until 1966
